Seeking to monitor the performance of its stores, sales representatives, and regions in real time, and to measure the effectiveness of promotions and campaigns, Atasun Optik adopted a fast, consistent, and sustainable business intelligence solution through the integration of Microsoft technologies with the Bicentrix Retail Intelligence platform.

Business Needs

The primary needs were the ability to track store, sales representative, and regional performance instantly, and to measure campaign and promotion effectiveness accordingly. With the existing infrastructure, promotion and campaign analysis could not be performed, which made it difficult to plan future campaigns (e.g., Which products should be promoted? When should promotions be launched?). This limitation also directly impacted stock and inventory costing operations, making it difficult to calculate the company’s real profitability accurately. In addition, critical financial analyses such as stock aging and invoice closing were incomplete, leading to delays and inefficiencies.
